Members of the 18th WCPP are invited to participate in an excursion to the Brazilian Atlantic Forest across the Ilha Bela State Park, enjoying tropical and coastal landscapes throughout the island, as a full-day activity. The congress fees already include the cost of participation in the excursion. The previous WCPP field trips lasted half a day. However, the 18th WCPP excursion will last from morning to late afternoon_. Firstly, the schooner will leave at 9am from São Sebastião, landing at Ilha Bela for visitation at the Engenho D’Água farm/museum. From there, members will travel across the island towards Castelhanos beach by Jeep, where they will also enjoy a delicious lunch by the beach. From Castelhanos, members will return to São Sebastião through another schooner, going around the island by sea. Interested members must inform, in their registration, if they are partaking on the excursion.
